Ziggy’s All-Star jams take place every other Wednesday at Ziggy’s on Main in Stillwater, MN, and one Wednesday a month at Ziggy’s Live Music in Hudson, WI. The hours of the jam are from 7:00-10:00pm. For more details, visit the Calendar page.
This jam is set up to run as a concert performance. Jammers sign up beforehand on this website and choose which songs they wish to perform. Once enough songs are chosen for the night, the signup page is closed and the list of songs is released for other jammers to join in on. Advance notice is the best way to keep the show running as smoothly as possible. If you show up on the day of the jam without signing up in advance, there is no guarantee you will get in. There may be possible spots open on songs that were chosen. But no one can show up on the day of the jam and pick a song of their choice. The set lists are prepared in advance of the show.
Step 1: Visit the “Sign Up!” page.
Step 2: Select the date you wish to be on stage from the “Jam night” menu.
Step 3: Enter your name and email address. I will confirm with you via email that your selections have made it into the show.
Step 4: Enter your band(s) name, if you wish. We will link to your band from our website.
Step 5: Request your songs. “Song request #1” and “Song request #2” are drop-down menus, listing all of our current songs. Select which songs you want to jam here.
Step 6: Let us know which position you wish to fill (bass, drums, guitar, vocals).
Step 7: Let us know if you want a professionally recorded video of your performance from KoMax Studios.
Step 8: Let us know in the “Comments” box if you need any special accomodations, if you are adding other players to your song, etc.
Once the lists are filled for a night, you can request to sit in on a 3rd song. If no one else who hasn’t signed up yet doesn’t take that song, you can jam it on the night you chose. It is not guaranteed.
If the date you wish to join us isn’t available, it means that the songs for that date have all been chosen and we don’t have room for any more songs. The dates listed in the drop-down menu are the only dates that can be booked.
Absolutely! When you sign up, mention in the comments the name of who is coming with you and which position they will be filling.
Absolutely! We are here to showcase you and your talents. Send a message on the contact page with the names of the songs you wish to play and the original artist. We will add you to the next available jam night of your choice. We will need to know your desire ahead of time to accomodate for an acoustic amp on the stage.

Set lists are built ahead of time. Let us know in the comments when you sign up if you can’t be there from 7:00-10:00. If you can only be there for the first or second set, please only choose one song to perform.
Please be courteous and let us know as soon as possible if you cannot attend the jam you signed up for. We will have to find someone else to fill your spot.
If you are coming to play guitar or bass, bring your instrument. Amps are provided on stage for each, with clean and dirty channels on the guitar amps. There is not enough time available for you to bring pedals. Drummers, bring a set of sticks. Vocalists, bring your own mic, if you’d like to. Otherwise, there will be one available for you to use.
We do our best to match the original song key and tuning. Check the song list page for the tuning and key of your song choices. A tuner will be provided at the side of the stage, for any last minute changes.
Though it is always a great idea to catch the eyes and ears of those who do book Ziggy’s on the weekend, it is not us. We can get you a showcase 30 minute spot during a jam. Ask the bar staff for booking contact information.
