Jam #18 Review
Great work by all tonight. For a show that is completely unrehearsed, it is incredibly entertaining. So many different vocal styles and music genres. You all are killing it! Fun to see so many of you stretching outside the normal comfort level. We added three new All-Stars tonight; Mikey Tahtinen, Shane Twohy, and Baylen Schmidt. Welcome, guys! The official landing of Terraplane was a show worthy of the hype. Three musicians, all singers on different songs, had a huge sound. Well done!
My challenge to you all for Jam #19 and all future jams; we need to attract more fans! I know it’s a school night and all, but we will still put you to bed by the end of the 10 o’clock news. People should see what you guys are doing. If you’re in a band, the jam is a great place to grow your band’s audience, too. The Twin Cities music community lives and breathes in this space. So, go back to Facebook and share the page with all your friends, keep talking up the jams! I see the posts out there, and it’s great promotion. Keep at it. I truly believe this is not only a great thing for musicians, but a great thing for fans of live music. There’s so much energy in this room!
Here are the set lists as they played out last night
Thanks so much to the whole Ziggy’s crew! TERRAPLANE had an amazing time playing there! So many great friends enjoying the night! I had many friends that had never experienced the jam and they were very impressed with all the different music variety and vocal styles! They were also impressed by switching up musicians every song! They couldn’t believe how well everything flowed! Excellent job to all the jammers and to John Sonnek for organizing these incredible events!
Thanks, Rick! Keep on rockin’.
