Jam #14 Review
Throughout this journey, though both numbers are rising, we’ve begun to see more fans than musicians rocking out at the All-Stars jams. With roughly 30 musicians in the house, this means a lot. This is the real fuel for success, as musicians feed off the energy of the fans. And in this environment, I truly think it is reciprocal. The energy these musicians bring with them on stage is incredible. Some are packing a 3 set night into two song performances, while others are growing more comfortable in finding their presence and place on stage. Everyone is coming in well rehearsed and ready to rock. It’s been an incredible ride, seeing musicians become fans and fans become musicians. It’s really a great experience, from both sides of the stage. Tonight we welcomed Tony Williams, Marissa Nyx, Ayla Wyld, and our very own videographer, Timmy Leonard to the band. Let’s keep on growing!
There was a bit of nostalgia for me on this night, as Motley Sixx rocked our halftime showcase set. I still remember being an awestruck 10 year-old boy, opening that fold out vinyl record album of Shout at the Devil in 1984. These guys put on a great show! Don’t waste your money on Motley Crue. These 4 guys do it better. Go catch them when you can.
